When I asked for a 1-hour late check-out, they demanded extra money, which was disappointing. The dining table was broken, making it impossible to use. There was no hot water in the sink, and the switches were unsafe. The heating, towel rails, and showers were not working properly, and the rooms were freezing. The house is brand new, scrupulously clean, lovely and warm with central heating and right in the middle of Katoomba. Coles is across the road, all the shops a short 2 minutes walk, the pub and bistro on the corner 5 minutes away. Everything I needed was here and I had a relaxing, peaceful stay in this lovely place. There is parking on site and it is a quick drive to Echo Point to see the famous Three Sisters. A breakfast buffet was included in our stay at a partnered accomodation opposite the station. After staying again recently those good memories were only compounded. The room was very clean, well outfitted (mini fridge with chilled glasses) and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious and nicely decorated.
