Location was fabulous! We were able to walk everywhere in town while visiting our son studying abroad. Train station to Lugano was super convenient. The Apartment had wonderful lake views and large terrace to take it all in. Clean, comfortable and spacious! And the pool in the basement was a bonus! I would recommend Casa Bader whole heartedly :)

Situated between Mount Generoso and Mount San Giorgio, all rooms at Svizzero Hotel have a minibar and a cable TV. Some rooms face the side street and others face the Mount St. Giorgio. Free Wi-fi is available in all of them.

Top value. I chose this place because everything was booked in nearby Mendrisio and it was the only place still available. In fact it's a gem. The restaurant is amazing (and full of local people and families in the evening, which is meaningful) and my room was top. Plus, you can walk/hike to Mte San Giorgio from there if you're after breadthtaking views. It's some minutes from Mendrision with the train, and the staff let me the keys hidden outside for my late arrival. Highly recommended.

This is the second time that I have stayed in this apartment. It is beautifully furnished, big, clean and has a great south facing terrace. This is a gem, a beauty and a warm place to stay. I also appreciated the proximity to the food store next door. Despite its location next to the main road the apartment is very quiet as it faces away from the street. Check-in and check-out are both super simple. Again: I will definitely be back, thank you very much.
