It was a real pleasure to be hosted by Bettina and Alwin. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped in everything you need for long or short accommodation. The sunny terrace is a great place to relax. The house is located very close to bike routes, restaurants, shop and winery of course, where you can buy excellent Riesling. The surroundings of Mosel valley are fabulous especially for bikers and wine lovers.The hosts are nice, caring and helpful. I highly recommended that place.

The warm welcome was very nice. We received fruit & a bottle of wine when we arrived, and despite the fact we didn't make a reservation in the restaurant, we could easily book a last-minute table. This was very comfortable as well.

The beds were very comfortable and the room in which we slept could be made pitch black (big plus for me)! The street and house are quiet. We could park right in front of the house. We were a family of 3 biking along the Mosel for 5 days. The host was readily available to help us enter the apartment and store our bikes in a secure garage. The room was large, well equipped for us to eat breakfast in the room, and large windows we could open for fresh air. Across the street from this room is the Mosel River, and the docked Roman Wine boat. We weren't in town on the day of it's public use, but it was exciting just to see it from our window! We could easily walk to the store for groceries, and the main restaurants in town are just along the same road as this lodging. This is a sleepy little town, but became my favorite of our travels just for it's peaceful setting, and somewhat natural display of it's Roman history. We would love to have stayed an extra night to enjoy the rest here.

We parked right outside the house, had nice and tasty breakfast and comfy room to sleep in. I would definitely recommend :) The bathroom was outside of the room, but it did not matter, it was just 1 meter from our door and only we could have used it.
