Accommodation in Dover

Everything! I went for a few days of relaxation and pampering which is just what I got. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Lovely bedrooms, food to die for, staff service out of this world!

The gentleman at reception had a good sense of humour and was really helpful. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel has no private parking, and a guest arriving late at night can only park several streets away.

Good location, cozy room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.

It's just opposite the train station. It's being renovated so the pub below is closed (reopening in a few days), so no live music in the evening. And as it was a Saturday night, no workers in the morning, so the hotel and the other guests were very quiet. There was a (working) TV in the room as well as a curtsy tray. Bathroom was just next door, shared with 2 other guests. No issues. Will book again when I need a room in Dover.

Friendly and welcoming place with a great atmosphere. Good location for visiting Dover Castle and exploring the area. It felt like a comfortable base for my trip and offered very good value for money. I really appreciated the hospitality.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed one night only, but the staff was very nice and everything was fantastic clean and cosy. Our room was big enough for three of us plus a really big private bathroom. Very good breakfast. I cannot say a wrong word. Thank you.

It was everything you’d hope for. Clean, homely, all the amenities you need, beautiful details everywhere. Fresh milk in the fridge, lovely owners that message you there’s an umbrella by the door when it starts raining. A dream!

Had a great stay, the location is fantastic, with a helpful and friendly host. This location is truly one of a kind, as the building is medieval and the history surrounds you at every step, outside, on the way to, and even inside the apartment, but with all the expected modern convenience. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view of Dover castle and surroundings. The building itself also has a museum inside it (through a separate entrance) which while small, was a really nice extra thing to add to our trip (and reading the Wikipedia page for the house you’re in is also great entertainment!). The apartment was stocked with all essentials like towels and toiletries, and even a nice range of tea/coffee and sweets. There was also plenty of convenient storage available. Another nice touch is that this very historic apartment had plenty of conveniently placed sockets for chargers and such. The location is very central, with shops and entertainment in walking distance. The only little flaw is that in the upstairs bathroom the basin tap is connected in the way where hot and cold water are reversed, so it took us a moment to realise that hot water comes out of the cold side. Liubov was a lovely host to us, she was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely book this place again.

Clean and comfortable, good location and lovely staff

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the apartment was; I fell in love with the recliner chairs. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were lovely; I would add maybe some wine glasses, though the champagne glasses did the job, haha.

Parking was good. Very near the promenade and a fabulous restaurant there.

Hosts were speedy to reply, also very helpful and friendly, fully kitted kitchen, comfortable beds and superb location 9
