The location is very good, it's off the beaten track but on a well-loved golf course. Which makes the hotel part both welcoming and warm. The bar & restaurant is separately located in the golf course clubhouse. The staff here are polite and very helpful. I had driven a long way late in the evening to get to the hotel, I am not very observant after a long drive. The staff were polite, unjudging and kind to me, which made my stay far better. Good service is priceless. The hotel room was large, well catered and comfortable. The ensuite was up to the task, the shower was amazing. Dinner, a good night's sleep, breakfast and I was on my way once more.

The lodge was amazingly clean and very well equipped. The campsite was very secure and the lodges nice and secluded. We were shown how to operate the hottub and sauna immediately upon being welcomed. The staff were very friendly. The on-site cafe was excellent as it was a holiday with no intention of cooking and that was achieved. We did not use the pool as we were in the hottub daily but it looked great and very clean. We loved that the hottub was maintained on a daily basis.

The receptionist upon arrival was very lovely and it was a nice start to the stay. Location wise it’s off the beaten track but great for golfers or those attending a function there. The food at the function was superb and the main bar had friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with a log burner and home cooked meals on offer.
