Lovely location, ground floor room which was handy. Very welcoming & helpful reception staff , W red had a bit of a wait for our dinner, which wasn’t ideal as we were tired and wanted to get go bed, the young man behind the bar couldn’t apologise enough & offered us complimentary drinks after our meal, which was very much appreciated 👍🏻

The staff are very friendly. Rooms nice, bed comfortable. English breakfast good and plenty. There is a lounge with a bar nice to relax and have a drink. We liked the outdoor terrace looking out to a very beautiful large garden. We have stayed there a few times. My family have had a few events there. If you decide to go back to your room after breakfast to relax, the staff would come back later and that without no pressure no matter what time. In the superior bedroom we stayed in was a bathrobe with slippers and it was really nice and soft like a teddy bear that I ended up buying one at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend Southcrest Hotel.

Booked as a budget two night stay for a family wedding. Luckily obtained the largest accommodation (by the look of it) with very clean and comfortable en suite. Friendly staff and owner. Very good food. Perfect base for our needs.

Really nice setting, everything was easy with no faffing about when checking in. We were going to a wedding and had a quick drink before we set off, it was late when we returned but it wasn’t a problem getting to our accommodation. The bed was really comfortable and my wife isn’t the best sleeper but she dropped off straight away. Had the breakfast in the morning and that was excellent as well. I’m looking forward to staying there again.

Excellent service , really appreciated the air conditioned room and complimentary breakfast and staff were helpful and charming. Far better value than the Abbey Hey Hotel were we stayed for the Wedding the next day. In hindsight should have booked 2 nights at the Holiday Inn and just got taxi's

Lovely country pub with chalets as accommodation. Number 1 was a very large one, well decorated and clean and comfortable. The bar served very good quality meals and had a real fire. Great stay. Will definitely be staying again. Thanks very much
