Absolutely beautiful cottage, it was a lovely place to relax and a wonderful space to enjoy. It had everything you needed, it was like home for home. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, Leap Castle and Birr Castle and Gardens were just two places we visited. Beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped for all your needs and the bathrooms had a shower in one and a stand alone bath in the other.

The refurbishment was excellent, with underfloor heating making this historic cottage really cosy. Everything was good quality, including the bed linen, delph, kitchen utensils etc. Chris met us at the property to show us how things worked and was very welcoming and friendly. Felt like "home from home." Will be back.......

The staff are fantastic and very friendly and helpful. Very kind and lovely to speak to. Breakfast was gorgeous! Plenty to choose from! Rooms are so cosy and the bed was comfortable. The staff were great in dealing with a big group staying for 3 nights but I found them to be very easy to work with before and during out stay. The food was great and as a group of 15, everyone was more than happy with the selection on offer and the food itself.

There was a lovely garden in back to walk through. I would say all aspects of our stay there met or exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay there again!
