Host Pramesh was awesome in his hospitality. We being Sr Citizens, he took extra care. Served very tasty vegetarian food. All the days we stayed there 2 through booking.com plus one additional day, we felt very much at home. From the property we could walk to city centre and Darjeeling Mall. When we were late to arrive after our night walk, he came in his vehicle to safely pick us up back to homestay Our thanks to him for being a perfect host. One plus is his cousin neighbour with a taxi at flexible rates. We now have an authentic accommodation, which we will.recommend to all friends and relatives

Waking up every morning to the great view to Kanchenjunga was an incredible experience. The room was spacious and comfortable with cozy wooden interior and a split-level layout. There was an electric heating mat on the mattress so we never felt cold in our room during the winter time. Maintaining a property in the mountain area is never an easy task and the hotel staff has done a great job in providing a comfortable accommodation to their guests. The complimentary shuttle service to the city centre, although with time restriction, is convenient and reliable.

From Roopak. When we reached Darjeeling, I felt so lonely in a place where unknown faces all around. But the first hello with our homestay owner felt familiar and comfortable. In person he is a truly green flag. His humble behaviour and hospitality are quite grateful. At mid of the night I feel peace sitting on the balcony looking at the foggy darkened skies. After a long hustle day this place has something that relieves my fatigue.

This property sums up everything one may wish for in Darjeeling. The views- imagine waking up and seeing Kanchenjunga staring back at you through the windows from your bed while you sip locally grown beautifully brewed tea. Enough said. The rooms- it felt like living in a museum. 200+ year-old furniture, curios in every small corner that you find something new every single day, even after five nights of stay. We found a walking stick hiding rather sinister looking dagger. The food- the Cook was trained by the Queen herself for 30 years. She made the best pork momos I ever tasted. All vegetables were locally grown, and tasted of the Himalayas. The staff were handpicked by the queen herself, trained for decades, and were the nicest people. I seriously felt that we locked out on every front. Everything about the place smelled off a quiet dignity.
