You feel very welcome from the moment you arrive.
The parking is spacious, the breakfast is traditional, the atmosphere is excellent, 10/10 don't sleep on this gem! Book when you get the chance before it gets too popular.

He took very good care of us and made sure we had a taxi picking us up whenever we needed it, explained what we were eating at breakfast, and how to do it properly.

Very nice and helpful staff, a beautiful view from the room, the futons were very confortable and the common areas very peaceful and quite with nice massage chair. Would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the baths...

Basuitei was such an incredible experience, truly authentic and the staff was super friendly and made the stay extra special. The place was fantastic, right next to the river and temple, really conveniently located in the town centre. The food was extraordinary, so many incredible, tasty, healthy dishes that came one after the other during the dinner in the private room overlooking the river. The building itself looks quite old, full of lovely antiques, traditional furniture and ceramics. Such A wonderful stay we will remember !

The place is beautiful and the owners are very friendly and kind! They welcomed us with the traditional tea, matcha latte and some sweets. For dinner and breakfast they served traditional dishes (a lot of different foods) and we were super happy to try them. One of the owners even translated some of the special ingredients into our native language! Really nice and respectful of him!
We really recommend a stay at Busuitei.

The property itself consist of different villas, so i assume for different villas u get a different look, but the iori kanazawa we stayed at was very cool nontheless with an indoor and outdoor hot tub and a well equipped kitchen. The thing that stands out about iori is the staff. I especially have to commend Jackson, a tall handsome american who helped my family and i every step of the way during our trip. He made our stay much more enjoyable and easy.

We had a wonderful stay at Yatsusankan the staff were so polite and helpful and the food was delicious. The location was perfect and we enjoyed our 2 night stay enormously. We also loved our time in the onsen.

Amazing experience staying here! So relaxing, the onsens were stunning 😍 the breakfast was amazing and the staff were amazing! The town was covered in snow and so pretty!

I have visited in 2019 during summer holidays and Iori stay.
Shingo welcomed me then with such kindness.
Probably that time influenced me to visit once again to Hida, also same property.
It’s a small town obviously, however that town and its atmosphere suggest tourists to visit again in other seasons.
I’d love to visit Hida also in Spring, or Autumn whenever there are local/traditional festivals.

The house is spacious, comfy and clean, and it’s well-appointed with sufficient cooking utensils which is perfect for family trip. The staff there are nice and polite, we all have a pleasant stay here.
