A beautiful setting in an affluent, serene area of Sassenheim. We had the Loft apartment at the side of the house, opposite an ancient ruined castle, overlooking a quiet waterway. Cosy, romantic and cottage-like. A private (if teeny) sauna & toilet on entering the front door. At the top a little kitchenette with French doors onto a small sun terrace over the canal. Room to lay outside on loungers when sunny, or just sit and relax. Very private, quiet and calm. A large bed squeezed into a space opposite a basin & shower. Cosy, quiet & comfortable, with Netflix freely available. Annemiek, the owner, was just lovely. We hired the (top quality) e-bikes for 2 days which were excellent, well worth paying 3x the cost of ‘City bikes’ and made hilly coastal dune cycling against gale winds a piece of cake. The bikes virtually rode themselves!

Our host: Bianca was extremely helpful and friendly! The location: a quiet town with shops and restaurants. We could reach The Hague and other places easily. A beautiful park is only a short walk away. The breakfast: vegan and with options for every wish. The bathroom: quite modern, it had everything one could need. Parking: since we traveled by car, it was a HUGE plus for us to have free parking.

I loved the decor, the terrific restaurant, and morning breakfasts! It was so special to have e-bikes delivered to the hotel for our journey to The Keukenhof, which was a convenient ride from the hotel.

The location was very quite and private. Nice beds, full size refrigerator and stove. Nice little town Warmand and iparks nearby.

We had a great time at Kitty’s Place. The chalet has everything you need, was absolutely clean, has a great shower and fire place in the living room. It’s enough space for 2 people and a dog (which was very welcome :) ). Kitty left us a few things for the first breakfast and a little bottle of wine, thanks again for that :) You have everything you need just a short drive away, Noordwijk is less than 15 minutes to drive. We would definitely come back !

Amazing host, place to stay and beautiful surroundings. Felt like a home from home. Bikes were a great addition to get around local area. Train station around 15 minute walk (as is a local supermarket). Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
