Teresa is the best host we ever had, she was sweet and very welcoming. Breakfast she made was excellent, fresh scrambled eggs and french toast. We also tried her tasty homemade jam. The view of the ocean from the property is amazing. Room was clean and nice with a large balcony. Can’t wait to come back for more days.

Charming hotel with its own peculiar vibe. It was very calm and quiet, even though there was a party at the property one of the evenings. Breakfast was very nice and offered many options. The staff is what makes this such a precious experience - even more so than the views (and they are already fantastic).

I hiked from Caniçal to Faial and this appartment was in the perfect place for the night. It has a washing machine, nice cooking area, a small terrace and a rain shower. All you need after an exhausting day. Also the owners are very supportive and the location is quiet.

Fabio's home was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the calm of the surroundings and the beautiful view, we made great use of the bbq and enjoyed every day breakfast and dinner on the equipped terrace. The kitchen and the house had everything you need and also very good wifi. It's close enough to Machico (less than 10 mins drive) and to a few levada walks, but still making you feel in the middle of the countryside. Fabio is responsive and very kind. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home :)

The studio is very clean, well equipped and just feels like home! You can tell Sandra and Olides put a lot of effort in it. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! The bed was so comfortable, the studio was cosy, the views are amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to contact. There were cookies, fruit and wine waiting for us when we arrived and they even brought over fresh traditional bread one day. The location is great for exploring that side of the island. There are some pretty viewpoints nearby, the beach is a couple of minutes by car and there is a big supermarket in the village. I could not recommend this more.
