We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Bear in mind it's not a hotel. there is no reception or dining room, but the rooms are run by and located just above a great Cafe/Bakery. our room was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. even though there is no reception, the self check in was pretty straight forward and convenient. Overall a wonderful and recommended experience.

Manuela's apartment is well-located to use it as a starting point to travel the country. It is surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains. Apartment is not that far from main Austrian cities (Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck) and most interesting villages (Hallstatt, Zell am see, Kitzbuhel), as well. As for the inside - the view is breathtaking (especially during the sunrise). It is clean, warm, and very-well equipped (especially kitchen). The bed is very comfortable. We also much appreciated kindness and responsiveness of the host :) My best stay in Austria so far, 10/10.

From the property, it is 23 km to Bad Ischl, 38 km to St. Wolfgang and 40 km to Hallstatt. The nearest airport is Blue Danube Linz Airport, 79 km from the accommodation. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!
