This beautiful Lodge is located right at the entrance to the quiloto loop. The hostess is warm and lovely and happy to chat. The dinner was fabulous! The bed comfortable and warm with many blankets. Great breakfast and pack lunch. There's a fireplace games and books as well as endless coffee tea and water. Plus good wifi. All that amazingness and you walk out the door in the morning and you're on the trail!

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetaríanía Food er nýlega enduruppgerð heimagisting í Chugchilán, þar sem gestir geta nýtt sér bað undir berum himni og garð. The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Cuscungo Cotopaxi Hostel & Lodge er staðsett í Chasqui og býður upp á garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar. Everything! This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge er staðsett í Hacienda Provincia og býður upp á garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og veitingastað. Probably one of the best places I have stayed during my trip in Ecuador and in South America in general. The professional yet personal service of the staff was top notch (and they spoke good English, which is not to take for granted in Latin America), the common areas were so nice and cozy and warm with a fireplace, I felt like I could stay longer if I had more time. They also run activities to see a cheese factory, an indigenous market, horseback riding and more. At some point I felt sick due to the altitude and they really took care of me which is rare.

The staff is always so kind, this was my second time staying here and they really make the experience great. The included dinner is amazing, and the set up is great to meet new people. There are plenty of blankets for the chilly weather.

Rondador Cotopaxi er staðsett í Chasqui, 49 km frá Metropolitano del Sur-garðinum og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. We had a lovely stay at Rondador Cotopaxi! The location is perfect for visiting the Parque Nacional Cotopaxi, as well as other small towns nearby. Fernando and the rest of the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fernando gave us advice regarding activities to do, as well as organizing the logistics for a cabalgata the same day. The food was delicious! Very recommended!

Hostería Hotel Cuello de Luna - Cotopaxi - Country Inn er staðsett í Lasso og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.
