Everything was great, from the friendly and welcoming staff to the clean and comfy room. The breakfast was great as well. Extra points for the location as it was very convenient being close to the train station, the shopping district and good local food all around.

The hotel is very nice and staff are hospitable. The room was quite big, as well as the bathroom. I liked the shampoo and conditioner. And that the room was always cold. The breakfast buffet menu is cool - lots of options to choose from. One of the best breakfast buffets I've tried around the world.

A 5-minute drive from the vibrant Malioboro Street, Aloha Hotel Yogyakarta offers tour arrangements and air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in all areas. The hotel is located ona small street which limits car traffic and accompanying noise. The building is beautifully designed with a lovely atrium occupied by a fish pond and water plants. The stairwell is lighted during the day by a beautiful stained glass panel. The room was large with a large bed and pullout sofa. The bath was clean, and shower enjoyable. The WiFi was fine. The staff were incredibly attentive, and kind. They helped arrange a car with a driver who spoke English and took us everywhere we wanted to go. The lobby is cool and breezy with free freshly made Javan coffee on request. We also liked the small fruit stand and restaurants which we patronized right next door. We would definitely lke to stay there again.

Situated in Malang, Casa de Vie Tunggulwulung is a recently renovated accommodation, 3.5 km from Museum Mpu Purwa and 3.9 km from Tlogomas Recreation Park. Talk about luck! I tried to book their hostel again, but they were fully booked! Luckily, I switched to their homestay, and the service was just as wonderful. While the location is a little out of town, the fantastic service completely made up for it! The room was spotlessly clean, and their bed was seriously comfortable. Being able to watch Netflix right in my room? That’s a luxury I rarely found throughout my trip in Indonesia!

Set in Jakarta, 400 metres from Museum Bank Indonesia, House of Tugu, Old Town Jakarta offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything was amazing. We were greeted with a cold towel and lovely fresh drink. We were then taken to our (upgraded!) room and offered a tour of the hotel grounds to get the lay of the land. The buildings and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and unique. Upon completion of the tour, we sat down for the included afternoon tea service at Babah Koffie which was so much more than I was expecting - it was almost like a meal! We had dinner at the other restaurant in the hotel, Jajaghu Restaurant. The green prawn curry and butter chicken curry dishes were wonderful! Breakfast the next morning was included and was also amazing. The coffee was to die for and we purchased some bags of coffee beans from their shop to take home. They allowed us a late check out and we also booked 30 minute massages for each of us, which were much more extensive than I was expecting. The back/neck massage was perfect before our long evening flight home. Wish we had booked a longer stay here!

Model J Hotel Jakarta Soekarno - Hatta Airport 曼居酒店 雅加达苏加诺哈达机场店 is set in Gardu, 20 km from Museum Bank Indonesia and 22 km from Dunia Fantasi. The hotel was new and clean. I really appreciate that my room was upgraded and free shuttle service from and to airport (Betterwood membership). Really appreciate the laundry service as well.
