Hotel Vittoria åbnede i 2010 og ligger i centrum af San Giovanni Rotondo mindre end 5 minutters gang fra Padre Pios Sanctuary (helligdom). Værelserne har aircondition, og der serveres morgenbuffet. I stayed in Hotel Vittoria for 3 days and 2 nights. When I arrived, the staff member who met me was very accommodating and although it was not yet the time to check in, he gave me the key and said the room was ready, and I asked him if the restaurant was open for lunch. He said yes and after settling my luggage, I went to the restaurant and the food was really appetising and savoury. I think (I'm not sure) that they are using hand-made pasta. That is why I prefer to eat in the restaurant because of the food quality. The guys who assisted me in the restaurant were very accommodating; although I don't speak Italian, they were really helpful when I was choosing the food and were quick to the next menu once I finished my food. They also let me eat early because I was about to check out and had to catch the 7:35 AM bus to Foggia. No risotto in the menu though. I have been really craving it since I came to Italy The room was big enough for one person and even had big space to move around. They also change the towels and replenish the soap and bodywash daily. The hotel is just about 2-3 mins walk to the main church (if you are a fast walker) and 5 mins (if you like dilly-dallying) and very near to the bus stop. The hotel is accessible by stairs and elevator, but as for the elevator, a coin was needed for it to function, I guess. I haven't really used it since I am able to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. The staff was very helpful in showing me the bus timings going to Foggia and to Monte San Angelo and where to buy the bus ticket. One Tip: If you are planning to go to Monte San Angelo, go there in the morning, because they will be close at around 12:30 or 13:00 - 14:30. There will be masses in the basilica in the morning, and you will still have enough time to see the site before the next bus comes. The bus going there has long gaps, especially on holidays, so better prepare unless you go by car.

I stumbled upon this B&B very spontaneously and it turned out to be the best decision ever! The room was not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully minimalist, stylish and incredibly cozy at the same time! Everything I needed was there and I always had someone to reach out to if I had any questions. Since I have a remote job, the seamless internet connection was a huge plus for me personally! But what truly made this stay special was Morena’s warm hospitality. She greeted me with so many great tips for local restaurants and other recommendations in the village and nearby, making me feel instantly at home. When it was time to leave, she sent me off with such kindness and enthusiasm that I can’t wait to come back! Honestly, I haven’t felt this comfortable in a place for a long time and I already know I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can!

Dimora del Centro ligger 6 minutters gang fra Spiaggia di San Lorenzo Strand og tilbyder en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt indkvartering med aircondition, balkon og gratis wi-fi. The owners, Michele and Maria, were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the room was a good size. The porch was large and comfortable.

Det var et virkelig lækkert, elegant og smagfuldt indrettet værelse. Dejligt badeværelse og fin lille altan i den smalle gade. Dejlig morgenmad på Borgo Antico lige i nærheden. Værten Carmine var meget venlig, hjælpsom og imødekommende. Han gav os blandt andet gode tips om restauranter i byen og hjalp os også med vejledning om parkering på havnen. Vi mødte ham også i en af de fire smykkebutikker, som Carmine og hans familie har i byen. Kan også varmt anbefales. Så selv om vejret var regnfuldt og blæsende, fik vi et par dejlige dage i Vieste.
