A modern well planned hotel with good restaurant; excellent professional and welcoming staff. It is an easy walk into Alba centre for sightseeing and shops. And it is just a 15 min walk to the train station and bus stops. In fact our car stayed in the hotel garage all the time!

Francesca welcomed us so warmly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and all things to explore in the area. We couldn't have asked for anything more and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Asilo. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the village of Barolo. Bonus: there is even gated parking and a charger for EVs!

It was designed with great sensitivity to the natural landscape, reflecting a desire to blend tradition with innovation. Every single detail has received the utmost attention. The spa is amazing and indulgent, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is excellent. The staff are warm, welcoming, helpful, and professional, and every question was answered personally and thoroughly. The superb location in the heart of the vineyards allows for wonderful walking tours. Excellent value for money, with superb wine as an added bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted with a nice bottle of local wine along with breakfast foods, water, snacks and coffee. We were very pleased with our stay and will be staying here again in the future when we return to Alba!
