Perfect location, in walking distance of The Temple of Tooth, White Budha, and the city center. There is a restaurant which is part of the Lodge, the food is delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to fulfill our demands.

The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!
