Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa by IHG features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Al ‘Aqar. This 4-star resort offers an ATM and a concierge service. The hotel is great and the building is new. We had a free upgrade to a room with private pool and when we entered the room we were just speechless. We were supposed to stay here only one night, but we decided to add another night because the atmosphere is so relaxing and worth it. The staff is kind and extremely accurate. The hotel offers many activities, you just need to ask for them, we did the Rose Path tour, where our guide Lofti brought us in a rose field. We walked on the falaj, we picked up our roses and we went to the rose factory where they showed us the process. Was a great experience that I highly recommend doing, in the early morning is better.

Season Inn Hotel Balad Sayt is located in Rustāq. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hospitality, the location, the view. The village is beautiful - do ask for a room with the village view. You have to drive off-road in a 4x4 car to reach there, but the experience is interesting.

Facing the beachfront, Marina offers 2-star accommodation in Sohar and has a private beach area and shared lounge. The location is great! Near the beach. Staff is amazing from the reception to the cleaning team! We will definitely come back!

Situated in Mashūq, Tilal Al-Qattara provides accommodation with seating area. This bed and breakfast has a rooftop pool, a garden and free private parking. Location is incredible- in the middle of the mountains, secluded, cosy, pool with jacuzzi are a massive bonus, dinner was delicious, room comfortable, views out of this world. You can do some hiking too. Note about the road- don’t take Lamborghini or Ferrari- it wont make it there, but sedan can reach when driving carefully, suv or 4x4 is better.
