It is up a very steep slope so we parked at the bottom after one attempt. Three bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. One of each upstairs and downstairs. There was never a problem or a queue. Dishwasher and washing machine available. Samantha is super and if dinner is offered and one of you speaks and understands French, it is really worth spending an evening with her and her family chatting while you eat her interesting and different Creole based food. A great way to find out about the way of life on Reunion and their plans. Near to Hellbourg and surrounding areas. Spectacular views.

Located in Salazie and only 7.6 km from Cirque de Salazie, Ti kaz Salazie provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location for hiking several trails in the area and for checking out town without actually being in town. Very comfortable stay, nicely appointed kitchen. Great having a washing machine and a dishwasher! Not many noisy dogs/roosters in the area and those that were tended to be only during daylight hours (if you stay on any of the islands this becomes important!) The house is in good repair and very good sized for two.

I stayed in thousands of different hotels and guesthouses. This is the first time that I give 10 points. The location is absolutely amazing ! Beautiful nature wherever you look. Even with the fog and the rain it was awesome. The silence , peace and calm were God sent. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable with 2 beds with good , solid mattresses. The balcony was nice for taking in the view. The heater was wonderful and provided a cozy temperature. The kettle was useful and the friendly hosts were so nice and gave us a welcome drink/snack.

Offering a garden, Villa Le Jacaranda offers accommodation in Salazie. Everything! The house is beautiful and modern, the beds are super comfortable, good appliances, etc. And I loved the location, very quiet and silent, with spectacular sky at night.

The host is super friendly and thoughtful. Nicely decorated and has everything you need. Beautiful view from the garden and close to many nice hikes. We had an amazing stay, way too short!

Featuring mountain views, Chez Framboise offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 4.4 km from Cirque de Salazie. Everything was good. If You come by public bus, take No. 83 at gare de St. Andre, exit at the station Mare Paule d'eau and walk 50 m. back. Car rental is not necessary, public transport is available and it is well arranged.

Offering a garden and lake view, Gite LA CASCADE BLANCHE is set in Salazie, 6.1 km from Cirque de Salazie and 32 km from Cirque de Mafate. What shall I say. People indeed make a difference, and that's why we would return without hesitation. The warmth we experienced from Fissa, Antoine, and Tom was incredible! We felt genuinely welcomed and enjoyed two superb dinners with them. Sharing the table with other guests, we engaged in delightful conversations, although our french was almost not existing, and savored a glass (or two) of rum. Unforgettable! A special thank you to Tom, who provided unwavering support throughout our stay. Even when we faced a memory storage issue, he came to our rescue (and sacrificed his sleep ^^). The next little house is approximately 50 meters away, ensuring ample privacy. Ours even had a Jacuzzi, a delightful addition after a hike. We adore animals, so it was charming to see a lovely dog and a donkey strolling around. While the house and its furnishings weren't extravagant, they had everything you needed and, most importantly, were impeccably clean.
