Offering panoramic views over the Inn Valley, the Kasperhof Apartments are located in Hötting in green surroundings, only a 13-minute bus ride away from the centre of Innsbruck. Beautiful apartments in the outskirts of Innsbruck. Very comfortable and very well set out. Suited our family perfectly. It was a great stay in the middle of a family holiday, we were able to cook a few meals, as it gets a bit tiring eating out every day. Also we were able to get our washing in hand. Very relaxing stay, in picturesque surroundings.
Quietly located beside the Hofwald Forest, these self-catering apartments provide great views of the Inn Valley. Innsbruck Airport and the city centre are 3 km away and are easily reachable by bus. Great accommodation, superbly equiped, friendly owners, perfect location.
Innbruck-Völs is located in Völs. This apartment provides a garden. Great apartment in a location very handy to Innsbruck centre (we travelled by car) . Sparkling clean, good sized apartment for our party of 3 adults and 2 children - there are 3 separate bedrooms. Note that 2 of the single beds are upper bunks (ie suitable for able-bodied adults or older children). Nice modern kitchen. Has an oven, stovetop and microwave. Good sized fridge (note no freezer or icebox though). A few steps up to the entry to the building, apartment is on the ground floor. A small number of dedicated parking spaces available - first-come-first-served basis; we were able to park there (street parking a little further away if this park is full). Host met us with the keys and she was very friendly and helpful (brought some little gifts for our kids, which was lovely). Lots of board games, toys and books in the apartment to keep children occupied.

Hotel Neue Post is an Art Nouveau-style hotel in the centre of Innsbruck, located directly opposite the district court and only a few minutes’ walk away from the Golden Roof, the casino, and Innsbruck... Great location , staff were friendly , large room . Good breakfast
Innsbruck has a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. The people are courteous and friendly without gushing. The town itself is very clean with an excellent public transport system. There is a frequent bus service between the railway station in the centre and the airport which is only a couple of kilometres away. The old town is packed with palaces and churches and other things to see as well as great places to eat and drink. Prices are very reasonable. At Wilten, just 20 minutes on foot, less than 10 minutes by bus or taxi, there is a working Abbey with a fabulously decorated church and an even more fabulous basilica across the road. Music is everywhere in Innsbruck. There is a frequent train which takes you 2500 feet up to the Hungerburg, and from there two cable cars which takes you 7500 feet up the Nord Kette. Nearby skiing as well.
As usual finding your way around Austrian locations is difficult until you stumble across the appropriate information/directions. They do not know what walkers signposts are in towns and cities to attractions. The public transport is good, especially from the central railway station. Directions from hotels tend to be awful. Lovely old centre and painted buildings, surrounded by mountains, very wet when it rains! A good, cheap, national costume shop heading directly out of the station and continue up the street opposite. Amras nearby is a beautiful old village which could be miles from the ugly square blocks they have built on the valley floor. Cathedral is plain.
Innsbruck is a wonderful city in spectacular surroundings. There is plenty to do in the city and away from the city into the mountains. You can ski, walk, mountain bike, road bike, shop, eat and drink. The restaurants are vastly improved in the last 10 years and there are now many more up market restaurants and wine bars to visit. Restaurants are child friendly and the people are very friendly in general. Most restaurants and bars are used to English speakers and are able to communicate. The travel links are also great so you can get a train easily into the Tirol including Kitzbuhel and lots of other towns on the way. We went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen as well in Southern Germany, it is only 90 minutes by direct train.
Very nice city surrounded by beautiful mountains. The Christmas market was ok but a little bit too quiet, no Christmas music, no bell sounds...missing some of the atmosphere. Unfortunately most of the best rated restaurants were fully booked and we could not experience the very good food. I have to highlight that in lots of restaurant and pubs we have been mistreated, the way the waiters push you away of the restaurant saying that's fully booked was very unpleasant and unpolite. The city centre is nice to visit by walking around and we also liked the trip to Hungerburg and to the Alpenzoo. We stayed for 4 nights and it's really too much, 1 or 2 nights is enough in this period of the year.
Favourite place was Nordkettenbahnen Cable ride to top and a play in the snow. Views were spectacular even though there was low cloud cover in Innsbruck when we started up and it looked like a miserable day. Second was being in the Old Town - the markets, the ambience and the history. And near tie for second was the Bergisel ski jump stadium and it's fabulous views of Innsbruck and the snow capped mountains. Lots more - Court Church, Golden Roof and Alpine Zoo.
Very easy to get around Innsbruck. Small cozy winter town that offers everything you need. Very nice destination from christmas. We took trains (for day visits) to zugspitze, munchen and bozen. The christmas market in bozen is beautiful. If you have time please don't miss the Zugspitze. Beautiful views from the train and being up there is really breathtaking. Innsbruck is ver well located to do things for the day and visit other places. We went to stubaier gletscher to ski (december-very little snow everywhere) with the ski bus. It was full of people so please go very early to be able to do the most of your day.

Lovely and comfortable apartment. Lovely hosts. Good locations, opposite the shuttle bus for Swarovski World, bus station, taxi, railway station, supermarket. 15 minutes walk to Old Town, and 20 minutes to Nordkettle. Innsbruck Airport is about 15 minutes drive by a taxi. We would love go back again one day.

It's location. It is situated on the banks of the river INN. Our room 43 facing the river was excellent. The room was quite big enough to accommodate our family of 4. Facilities are good, breakfast was excellent with wide variety of choices.
