I especially liked the fact that it was walking distance from the airport. I didn't realize that Salzburg was quite a small city, if it's compared to where I'm coming from, which is Frankfurt, Germany.

Loved this place and already planning our next trip so that we can stay there again.
Super family friendly, everything was so comfortable and easy.
The breakfast was next level! Our daughter has celiac and they had plenty of gluten free options for her, including cereal and muffins.
The family pool is amazing as well, and the location can't be beat.

We had an excellent stay. The room was big and very clean. The stuff was very helpful. Great and healthy breakfast. The bus station is right in front the location. There are a few good restaurants nearby, coffee shops and a supermarket. Overall, very good value for money.

The bus stop is right outside the hotel which made our stay very pleasant with two kids. We could go to the city center without thinking it and enjoy every moment.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there.
We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking.
Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

Salzburg is an extremely beautiful city.
Salzburg is an extremely beautiful city. It has a beautiful old center under the protection of UNESCO, starting with the Mirabel castle and park, the birthplace of Mozart, the old town center which is riddled with narrow streets, a castle on a hill, a beautiful promenade by the river. The air is so clean that we breathed and used every moment to absorb the beauty of the city. We also visited Holburne Palace, which is outside the city. In many places in the city, stands are set up and decorated for Christmas and New Year. We also visited the famous beer hall within the monastery and drank phenomenal beer.
The locals are very friendly and ready to help.
We are enchanted by Salzburg and recommend everyone to visit it.

Very Nice unit.
Very Nice unit. Unit was in good order and had what we needed. I must mention we had a horrible check-in experience. We called upon arrival. Individual had no idea what we were talking about to gain access. Booking.com did not recognize we had a reservation. Had to send a copy of the email to them. According to Google, the location did not match the published address. We were to be at street number #12, but it was actually location was #11. We made multiple calls while in the rain trying to reach someone to sort it out. Except for a good Samaritan who spoke fluent German, it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to get to the unit. Even they required several calls to explain the situation. The until was good, but I would not return for fear of being stranded.

Piding itself is a small town, we didn't "do" much in the town itself. However there is a great bakery and supermarkets, all you'll need nearby. Its a great location as a base for other adventures!

The place was large, spotless and great care has been taken to ensure guests’ comfort and convenience with a more than adequately equipped kitchen. I t is in a quiet and peaceful location with green fields and wonderful views of the mountains. Parking is provided at the front. The hosts are helpful and responsive. Whilst there is a bus service at the end of the street I think a car is probably essential for a short stay as supermarket and Salzburg are a drive away.
A few basic toiletries in the bathroom would be appreciated as well.

A beautiful, rural area ten minutes by car from Old Town Salzburg. The 180 degree view from the Gasthof Maria Plain hotel terrace, and from the balcony of room #20 which we had, captures sweeping pastoral greenery in the foreground, behind which is the city of Salzburg with the iconic fortress on the berg, back-dropped by the soaring Austrian Alps. And the sky at night is spectacular! Want an authentic taste of Austrian Gemütlichkeit? This is your place!

the staff is amazing
To things are subjects for improvement
First
1.enrich the breakfast
2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

The people are so freindly and helpful. Tour the fortress and cemetary, eat in the square - great austrian and other food. Take in a Mozart string quartet concert at the fortress. The views day and night are incredible. Do the salt mine tour.
