Location and Transport
Vancouver International Airport is situated on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. Downtown Vancouver is about 7 miles (12 kilometres) from the airport and can be reached in under 30 minutes via rail on the Canada Line. Taxis are available at stands located on level two of the arrivals area, and flat fares apply for journeys to specified zones in the city.

Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok. It was a reasonable ride to Vancouver, not far from the airport. We felt safe in the area where Sandman is.
