Located in Puerto Williams, Hotel Forjadores del Cabo de Hornos features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. We have a fantastic time staying at this place. The host is very friendly and attentive. The room was very spacious, with a great bed and good facilities. The personal that works there is very helpful. The breakfast is good and available all day, giving a sense of relaxation to not having to wake up too early.

Featuring a shared lounge, Refugio Jemmy Button offers accommodations in Puerto Williams. Cozy and rustic refugio right at the Beagle Channel at a stone throw away from the ferry docking location. The roofed porch is the perfect place to watch the channel for passing whales. Owner Arturo was very welcoming and accommodating, ever ready to share his knowledge of the island’s interesting spots. The communal space has the homely feel (for me) thanks to the wood stove and sweet resident cat. NB: it is currently receiving TLC by a long-term volunteer, a skilled carpenter. Also, I do not recognize the more critical comments. I would definitely stay again and do not hesitate to recommend Jemmy Button.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint. The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed. I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things. Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful. However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.
