The apartment was very cutely decorated, had plenty of places to sit, dishes, fans in both of the rooms, dressers and drawers to put your things away, and lots of outlets! Plus the WIFI was very strong, there were cold water bottles in the fridge upon arrival, and tea and coffee were available as well. Luis was very kind and picked me up from the airport when my flight arrived. He was very helpful!

It was a fantastic stay! Very well maintained place with all-in! The hosts are really super nice and the transfers worked like charm, also! I think just because of them and this place it does worth to visit Costa Rica! :) Hints: -To get good hot water for the shower, put the knob to the middle, then don't pull it to the maximum to have the biggest amount water, but until midway. At least this worked for me like this. -A supermarket visit and the breakfast was done in 20-25 mins, total. That is still a good option in case of a late arrival and early departure. Besides, - this is more a note to the hosts -: maybe a bit more amenity in terms of biscuit or similar would be good. Apart the water which was of course, also great to have!

Casa Carmen offers accommodations in Río Segundo, 10 miles from Parque Diversiones and 11 miles from National Stadium of Costa Rica. It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.
