Located between terminals 1 and 2 in Munich Airport, this grand hotel has a striking glass façade, a spa with pool and a 24-hour gym. Rooms feature large, soundproofed windows. It was just next to the airport (all we had to do is follow the signs from the airport arrival hall and it was easy to find, which was a relief after all the stress we had at the airport because of our cancelled flight). It was nice and cozy, with all the necessary equipment - perfect for people that stay without checked-in luggage like we did. There was a fridge, water boiler, tea and coffee, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, 2 bathing robes and 2 pairs of slippers. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even offered us new toothbrushes. In the suite there was 1 comfortable double bed and 1 double sofa bed, with 2 big TV screens in-between, the floor was covered with a soft carpet. There was one bathroom with a toilet, shower AND a separate bathtub. Then there was an additional mini bathroom with a toilet. It was very useful to have 2 showers and 2 toilets.

Really friendly employees all the way around. Spent an extra night and was very comfortable in my room. FYI the part of the hotel across from the original has an elevator. Food was delicious- I had the Kaesespaetzle two nights in a row. It is the perfect hotel to book before your flight! The shuttle driver was friendly and efficient. This is my 3rd time staying there and I have recommended it to friends, who were also pleased.

Hallbergmoos is a small town which seems to have become a breeding ground for hotels since the opening of the airport some years ago. It doesn't seem to have a lot of individual character; the land is very flat, it's a commuter town for Munich, and in the autumn can be foggy and unwelcoming. But it's fine for a stopover on your way to the airport. It's still semi-rural, and the Hallbergmoos S-Bahn station is 2.2 km out of town.

The breakfast was very good I do not recommend for foreign visitors who get late to the propriety because of delay in landing to take a car and try to come to this propriety It is far from the airport and very dark at night We did not find xomeone at the reception desk and had to call but we did not have a local sim yet Finally the room was at the second floor without elevator and could not bring the laguage and also the warm water and the cold water is a problem when you take a shower

Easy to get by shuttle to and from the airport, the fee for it is 9Euro per ride. Quiet, clean rooms but small in size. Perfect for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. Check in was very easy and staff is super friendly. Clean, minimalistic and nice hotel

We spent one night here prior to a morning flight. I chose the hotel based on the fact that they had breakfast and airport shuttle. They were not included in the price of the room which surprised me. Getting to the hotel from downtown Munich required a ride on both the metro train and the bus. It's not within walking distance of the metro without catching the bus. The hotel was new, clean and modern. The best part was the little Italian restaurant across the street.
