Very clean and new — the residential complex itself is also new. Mariel was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend her, and I’ll definitely stay at Solimar Caribeño again the next time I visit!

Very very comfortable, clean little apartment that has everything you need with absolutely ice cold air-conditioning and a great large shower with good water pressure and strong fast wifi and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a rental. It is fairly small and would be comfortable for a Solo traveler or a couple. Extremely helpful and very friendly staff during check-in and very easy check out. This place truly is a hidden little jem. If you're looking for a nice clean comfortable and safe room at an amazing price don't hesitate to book this place, you will not be disappointed.

Room very nice with good AC, Free parking space, There a nice place called Boca Chica which is very close and it is a plus due they have nice restaurants and nice beaches, I recommend Bocana, another plus it is 6 minutes away from the airport 🛫.

Great location. The restaurant was perfect. High quality food. Rooms were nice size, good AC, price is reasonable. But it's the staff that makes this place absolutely the best place to stay in Boca Chica. Wonderful people.

Officially named ‘Las Américas-José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport’, this Caribbean airport is known simply as ‘Las Américas Airport’. The main hub for the Dominican Republic, it’s one of the largest airports in the Caribbean. It’s located 20 miles (32 kilometres) from Santo Domingo City, while the resort of Boca Chica is just 7 miles (11 kilometres) away. The easiest way to get to the city is by taxi, which will cost around DOP 200 (between USD 35–40) and take about 30 minutes. A taxi to Boca Chica will cost slightly less and take about ten minutes.

I only used this as a 2 nights stop whilst waiting for a rearranged flight home. Booked it very late and got great reception and response from host to get me the keys and and settle in.
Close to the airport (5 minute taxi ride)
There's a supermarket within 10 minutes walk with ATM's and obviously anything you need for shopping.
I didn't look around the area any further.
The flat was fairly clean with basic amenities and if i needed to wait over again for a flight the i would definetly consider using this host again.

Boca chica has the allure and the true island vibe that we desire when we think about the dominican republic. The food is great.I love the fact that the town is so accessible for everything I needed.The hotel was really nice.I stayed at hotel Hannabi it was really lovely

Sad, overpriced and not very nice.
Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

A bit annoying to deal with the vendors who seem to come every 5 minutes. Also watch out for the locals who try and get you to sit down and eat . They will mark up the prices of the food to make money off of you . I recommend you take a picture of the menu and sit yourself down and wait for someone of the establishment to atend you .
