Awesome host, very responsive and room was upgraded due to a small error on comms. No big deal, the host correct it on the spot and promptly. It's cozy, clean and quiet. Just what we needed before departing Madrid back home. It's right next to the airport on a great location. Recommended 100%

Don't let the pictures fool you! Although this hotel is old timey, it was the best hotel we stayed at during our two week trip. The room was huge and spacious, beds were spacious and comfortable and everything was super clean. The bathroom was also pretty big, had warm water, towels and a huge mirror. For the price, this was the best hotel we stayed at. It may look old but everything made it a comfortable stay. The staff were super friendly, spoke English which was amazing and super helpful too. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable, and we will absolutely rebook with them again if we visit Madrid. Train and bus options are also fairly close by.

Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) Information
Location and Transport
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport serves as the rest of the world’s gateway to Spain. The distance to Madrid city centre is 11 miles (18 kilometres), so getting there by taxi, train or Metro doesn’t take long. The latter is the easiest and cheapest option. Simply hop on Metro Line 8 at Nuevos Ministerios station for a direct connection to Terminals 1-4. The journey takes around 15 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
Travellers with scheduled or unexpected stopovers can choose among hotels in the neighbouring Barajas district. As the busiest airport in Madrid, Madrid-Barajas Airport offers a wide range of facilities to keep you entertained before takeoff. Duty-free shopping options and restaurants are aplenty, while a comfortable VIP lounge offers respite from the hustle and bustle. Other facilities include banking services, a post office and a chapel.
Terminal Information
Each of the airport’s four international terminals is connected by a free shuttle bus service, which runs every five minutes. There’s also a driverless underground train running between Terminal 4 and Terminal 4S, operating 24/7 and taking just over three minutes. In 2006, Terminal 4 won the Stirling prize from The Royal Institute of British Architects.

I loved the prompt shuttle pick up at the airport AND that the ride to the airport in the morning was so fast. The bathroom is modern with fantastic water pressure. Towels were thick and not old. The bed was comfortable. Having a TV guide that tells a guest what channels are available (and their number) would be a real help if you like to watch tv a bit. Wifi was fast and that is great!

Clean room, safe and quiet neighborhood. Great price.
Clean room, safe and quiet neighborhood. Great price. We only stayed overnight awaiting our flight back to the US the next day. There was no hairdryer in the room when we arrived but I contacted staff and one was brought to me quickly and with friendliness. I would stay there again if in the area. Only downside is the elevated non-functional jacuzzi tub that was our only option for showering. Getting in and out was hazardous.

This hotel has king size beds and large rooms, usually larger than the ones I stayed in the U.S. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom very large.
The breakfast buffet is amazing. It has everything you can imagine from cereal and toast to eggs, bacon, and cold cuts and cheeses.
It has an airport van that takes about 10 min to get there because it goes against the traffic rush.
The staff is very professional and friendly. I always get great service.
The only problem is that the AC/heating is centralized, so if the heat if furnace is turn on and the room is hot, one can only open the windows which is to a busy street.

It was a great economical stopover. It was difficult to find a decent meal. Plenty of fast food restaurants if you enjoy that type of food, but would have liked a proper meal hotel spotless, staff helpful, good location for one night stop on way to Santander

Good location, short walk to the Coslada Metro station. We found some Kebab place around the corner, the best and cheapest kebab I've had. No UBER was working in the area at midnight. If you have a car, park it at or around the Metropolitano Metro station. There you can use Zone 1 tickets to take the Metro downtown.

The hotel was very nice, and the rooms were very comfortable, well equipt rooms and the hotel offered nice amenities. Probably better suited for business travelers as its location is a bit far from any tourist attractions and the choice of close restaurants is VERY limited. However, there is a very good neighborhood italian restaurant just around the corner.

This is by far the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in.
This is by far the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. Exceptionally friendly service, breakfast was good, free shuttle to and from the airport. Room was clean and very modern, like they just renovated. It is the perfect place to spend the nights if you don't care at all about being located within walking distance of anything.
The only thing that really bothered me was the fitness center. I specifically picked a hotel with a fitness center and it was missing a few weights and the butterfly machine wasn't working well. But I don't think this is relevant for most people. I was always the only one there and I found ways to work around it.

Location is a half hour walk from MAD airport and that's the main reason people stay. It's a 12 minute walk to the nearest bus stop or Metro station. You can just as easily stay closer to the city center and take a bus, Metro, or car service to the airport inexpensively and quickly. It's nice to be given one towel, clean sheets, and a blanket.

The hotel offers a free shuttle service to MAD, but make certain to reserve in advance. It's a busy shuttle. The hotel is close to an excellent grocery store - DIA. The neighborhood is residential and we felt safe walking in the early evening. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.
