On top of this, the garden is huge and amazing for a relaxing day outside, in the sun. I don’t have words to describe the hosts, they were so nice and attentive to our needs, they left some food and snacks for us, water and coffee, and even helped us with the transportation to the airport. Thank you! We will definitely book again when we will come back to Santiago for another Camino.

But this place was clean, the staff were helpful, outbreak of bugs will occur when travelling the Camino, but these guys obviously tackled it and we had no issue. We had a twin in the attic area, and a family room on the ground. No sign of any visitors, everything was immaculate. Pool was perfect at the end of a hot day too!

She came and asked if there was anything I needed before she left, like some food or anything. She also bid me a fond farewell! I would definitly stay there again!!!

Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 6.2 mi from the center of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

The staff are excellent and helpful....and uts anazing the price includes a generous and decent breakfast. There was no noise from the airport. I was super pleaeed with this accomodation and highly reccomebd it.
