Staff vas extremely friendly. The accomodation was very clean and had plenty of room to put your stuff to in the bathroom too. The hotel is next to the motorway but we cannot hear any traffic noise in the room.

It was spacious and charming, we did find the sofa and armchairs quite uncomfortable to sit on, although the beds were great. Showers were excellent. We did expect it to be in Morlaix itself and not in a village outside, meaning if we needed anything we had to drive. Also unfortunately on Sunday there was a cycle race through the village which we didn’t know about. We left early in the morning for a long walk leaving our car in an allotted parking space. We returned to find it had been towed away and impounded . The only sign we could see on return was much further up the road on the opposite side to where we had parked. We spent most of the next day retrieving the car, which included €141 fee to the garage and a trip to the local police station, all via infrequent public transport.

Chambres d'hôtes et gîte d'étape Avel Glaz is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Morlaix where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. I couldn't be happier with my stay at Claire and Yves' place. They gave me such a warm welcome, showed me their vegetable and fruit garden and offered me food to cook in the outdoor kitchen.
