It is located right in the center of Castletown, 2 minutes from the bus stops, there was a small Co-Op shop which sold everything which we found very handy. The Curry Club restaurant serves great food, the staff offer suggestions on dishes you may like. Remember to take your wine and beer. The Tap is a great pub and eatery, lovely staff. Castle Rushen is well worth a visit for a bit of history.
The high point was looking out of the front window at the road works in the square, observing 5, yes 5 men trying to get an electric cement mixer to work. The discussion took over 40 mins. 3 man hours wasted, it could off been done by hand.
Pleasant historical town for those wishing to relax by the coast with a plentitude of restaurants as well as places to visit. Access throughout the Isle of Mann either by road or train, but my strongest recommendation would be to purchase a Go Saver 1,3,5,7 day bus card,as this will allow you access through out the Isles treasure towns & villages.
A quiet place on the way to other quiet places and almost impossible to get lost. If your after night life this is not for you. Douglas is not too far as are a variety of very friendly pubs and eating places. But own transport is advised. As a TT fan a few casual laps of the two road circuits are mandatory, but off the beaten track and there is so much else to discover. Feeling energetic. this will be your own paradise.
We met up with our farter in Ballasalla to scatter our Mums ashes and we also had time to see a few of the places of interest in the remaining time available bfore flying home after 2 days. Will attempt to visit the Island again. Although we did not use them not use them the railway and busses were close at hand. The Whitestone pub does not scrimp on meals !
Easy train and bus links for the rest of the island like most of the Isle of Man it is a small community but nearby Castletown very interesting historically .Not much to do unless you like walking and history.Douglas has the only "shopping centre".

I have always stayed in hotels on previous visits. Lorna on the desk knew exactly who I was and advised me of an upgrade! Fantastic! Beds very comfortable and kitchen facilities were excellent. I do stay in a lot of hotels for business and when I come to the IOM again, I will be staying here, no question. I hope it's for longer next time! Superb.

Beds are really good. Breakfast full English or Manx ;-) included. Great for a couple of days. Few minutes from the boulevard. I have been in many different hotels/B&B's on IOM. Glen Mona is a good one and very good value for money.
