1.3 miles from Mill Sand Beach in Toab, Taylor's Rest offers accommodations with access to a hot tub. The chalet, set in a building dating from 2019, provides free Wifi and free private parking. This chalet was wonderful. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking our own meals. There was a generous basket with breakfast items, chips, cookies and milk, juice and cheese in the frig. The bathroom was large and well appointed for seniors/handicapped (although we didn't need this). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable (if you like a semi-firm). The windows open for fresh air at night. There was plenty of room to hang/put away clothes. There were books and publications with regional information. We had a wonderful stay!

Excellent facilities, comfy, all modern and brand new and had everything I needed for my stay. Superb location, quiet but just a short trip into town and was an excellent base for exploring Orkney. The lovely host Dorothy welcomed me when I arrived, and the locally made cheese, biscuits and shortbread were great!

This property was immaculately clean in every way. The host was helpful and gracious. Breakfast was simply over-the-top with quality ingredients, excellent preparation, customized options, and a lovely setting.

Location is in a neighborhood and is very quiet. Easy check-in and out. They had a nice dining room and the breakfast was delicious. Shower was great with wonderful hot water.

Very friendly, welcoming host who was keen to help with advice about places to go, things to do and accommodate all our requests (eg Gluten free breakfast) with a cheerful disposition. The facilities were spotlessly clean and the location was ideally situated for our needs, although for others it might be a little too far out of the main centre of town. Having a safe space to park our car was also very much appreciated.
