The apartment was great and I loved the breakfast bar. It was really spacious and had everything you would need. Marc was great at keeping in touch and answering my questions. Check in was easy and there is street food across the road and shops very close. It is close to the airport. In fact, the taxi queue was huge so I walked from the airport to the apartment after flying in. The bus into the centre is just outside.

Sylvere keeps a neat and tidy apartment and is a great host. He's very friendly and really goes out of his way to assist you that I've rarely seen at that level in over three decades of travelling. All four thumbs up from Rob&Yo to you, Sylvere, and whenever we'll come back to Guadeloupe we know where we'll be staying! :)

The highlight of this hotel is the service. The service I received from the all-female staff was exceptional. The genuine effort to answer any question and solve any problem anytime was always accompanied by a warm and welcoming smile. They always did way beyond my expectation. Incredible!!!

Baia Mahault was good for supermarkets, a lovely commercial centre, and plenty of patisseries available. Not to near to any beaches though. You definitely need a car.
We went to the zoo, and the botanical gardens in Deshaie, definitely worth a visit. The best beaches are also in and around Deshaie.

I like that it was centrally located, easy to get to pointe a pitre, with the bust stop being a cross the road from the apartment. It is also way to get to supermarkets, The aquarium , within walking distance to the beach.Feels very safe . Just about 20 minutes from pointe a pitre airport. There is also a mc Donald's a,KFC and burger king restaurant within minutes of Le Gosier.

The local charm and history of old town.
The local charm and history of old town. The down to earth manners of people and relaxed pace of life whether greeting strangers on the street or the enhanced road safety for pedestrians.
Unspoiled and not tourist minded which may not suit everyone. If you like club med, stay away!

Le Gosier is nice but explore the island as there are many great areas and beaches. Plage de la Grands Anse is magnificent and there are great eating options there too. Place a l'autre bird is a nice beach also with great local food.

Book a reliable taxi for trip back to airport.
Book a reliable taxi for trip back to airport. I booked the day before and it did not show up. We were very grateful that someone from the residence gave us a lift! Very nice people from Guadeloupe and ready to help! The bus also comes nearby and we used it to get to a grocery store and to the warf to take the ferry boat to the island. Just be patient when it comes to the time waiting for bus.

Explore guest hotel reviews featuring Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport (PTP)
Great location just give minutes of walk from the cruise port and spices & fish markets. Nice view to the square with a cathedral. Quiet. Very friendly owner. Flawless self-check-in. Roomy apartments. You will love it because PTP is a hotel-less town and this is a very good chance to spend a night (and to explore a city center a bit) before your cruise begins.
