BulgariaThe place is amazing - clean, garden with friendly pets, big and comfy bed and pillows, everything for your stay inside, quiet, 15 mins on foot to the city center, very very friendly host, who took and drove us from and to the airport, matsutis and very nice bakery 5 mins from the place, bus stop same. We totally recommend this place!

Located very close to the center, restaurants and the port. We enjoyed every detail of the property, well thought out by a designer. Cleaning was done daily.

A pretty town, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes, but all in an attractive setting of tree-lined cobbled streets and scenic port area.
We would recommend Nikos taverna in the pedestrian street for excellent grilled food and efficient service-it’s always packed and there’s good reason for that- also the fish taverna on the port., which also serves meat dishes and traditional Greek cuisine. Very reasonable prices, good food and lovely staff. For breakfast, coffee and a nice little place to people-watch, we loved the Foodie cafe in the pedestrian street. Friendly staff and good service.

This is a spacious and well thought out property .
Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.

This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. But what makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who run it. They always make us feel very welcome.

Achladies is a great place to stay.
Achladies is a great place to stay. The beach is sandy and the sea warm and clear. Plenty of sunbeds.
The Mojo bar is great for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff.
Water taxi is a great way to travel to and from Skiáthos town. Quick and reliable.
Also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Great food and friendly staff.
The couple of supermarkets have all the basics needed.
Also a regular bus route around the island.

Better than we expected......various areas to visit, a busy promenade with many shops and restaurants, the port area with some lovely tavernas overlooking the sea, we liked the local beach Megali Ammos which was walkable from our hotel and had 3/4 lovely restaurants...our favourite was the Thessaloniki. Great bus service every 10 mins.
Not too many families so ideal for couples or singles. Plenty of boat trip options, etc.

Loved the location – just a 12-minute walk to the port, which made everything so convenient. The accommodation was perfect – clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Like all Skiathos, the hotels are not very close to the...
Like all Skiathos, the hotels are not very close to the water. As most of the hotels are situated up on the mountain the view is absolutely fantastic. The most beautiful view is from Skiathos Club Resort (hotel).
Good food is to be found at Azzuro Terrace and of course, at Paradise Hotel (Anastasia Restaurant)
A car is reccomended there... If you don't use a car, the trip could be less enjoyable😜

Achladies beach is lovely sandy beach with a couple of bars and eateries, the octopus which has fav food and Mojo which is a local bar with food. There are sunbeds and you can get a water taxi to skiathos town and back every half hour. There is also a supermarket nearby and a bakery. The supermarket will deliver your goods of over 25 euros which is a great service. It also has water sports and is lovely for a swim

We liked Skiathos Garden theatre, Alexandros Papadiamantis...
We liked Skiathos Garden theatre, Alexandros Papadiamantis museum, gift shops and coffee shops, the Bourtzi peninsula and Maritime museum.
Our favourite restaurants were: Asprolithos, Dinos, Manavaki, Pikantiko,
O Batis, Phaos.
It's very easy to walk around Skiathos Town.
There are boat trips to various beaches and Skopelos Mamma Mia tour.
There's a Greek dance workshop at Skiathos Garden Theatre on Tuesdays and Fridays.
