The location is beautifull and the staff is very kind and helpfull. It's a quiet place and it's an excellent location to "lay back". In the neighbourhood you can make fantastic dives and Mount Egon is beautifull. The breakfast is good, and de lunch/diner also.

The Budi Sun Resort, Flores, Maumere awaits you for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were very attentive, kind and considerate. The property is beautiful, well maintained, with lovely gardens, a number of different sitting and lounging areas near the pool and beach. The food was delicious and well presented.

Hotel is located near beach also facing beautiful view of mountain beside! a bit outskirt of town but only 10 min by bike you can rent from hotel! It is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in whole Indonesia! Room and all facilities are extremely clean! bathroom also literally spotless!! Really enjoyed breakfast with toast, egg selections, home made jam, fresh fruit juice, a plate of fresh fruits and really nice coffee from espresso!! having in beautiful garden full of flowers and great view was amazing!! Staffs are exceptionally friendly and kind! always ready to help with beautiful smile! And Joseph, manager of hotel, arranged everything I need from all transportations, Mt. Egon trekking tour, diviving trip, visa extension or so! Even provided medicine for me when I was a bit sick, and also bring me to Apotek for translation!! They are Not just staff of hotel but more of family! taking care of me and feeding me!! At first I booked 2nights but stayed here 8nights!:) I will definitely recommend this hotel everyone and will be back if I visit Maumere again!!

It’s a beautiful place, you have an incredible beach in front of you when you can do snorkeling between corals. The homemade food is delicious, breakfast the best. The location on the water is beautiful. Claudia the owner, is very friendly and helped us with many tips and organising a snorkelling trip.

A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!

The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
