To be honest, people don't stay in this location for the love of Cloghran. This is a hotel excellently located for both airport and city access. The hotel itself is away from the local town but for those with their own transport there is no difficulty exploring the local area. The majority of residents tend to dine within the hotel itself or either take a trip into the city. For those without their own vehicles, access to the city can be made by taxi from the hotel or a number of coach and bus services operating from the airport which will take around half an hour depending on traffic. For those who want to be closer to the city you will need to consider an alternate hotel but this could be very expensive especially at popular vacation times
1) Poor service at Radisson Blu Reception - we were not told about the need to use a keycard to call the lift (and was only given one between the two of us). 2) Reception did not advise us of the discounted parking available. 3) Restaurant service very slow - at 8.30 pm staff were more interested in dealing with the cutlery for the following day. 4) Despite having an "executive room" we had to ask for water, rather than this being provided as a matter of course.
Swords has a good mix of old and new. Historical old buildings mixed with large new Shopping Centre. Old style Main Street just off the M1 Dublin/ Belfast Motorway and short hop to Airport and Seaside. Once outside town you are in the heart of the countryside, lush farmland and horsey country with many Golf courses close by. Lovely but hidden part of the country.
Arrived late in evening, and hadn't eaten,. It was literally two minute drive into Swords to find a restaurant. We had 5.30 am pick up at the airport. We were just about to leave and realised the flight had been delayed for 4 hours. We jumped back into bed and had another 4 hours sleep. Didn't really get to see much of hotel, but ideal location for what we wanted. Breakfast was fine.
I was visiting family due to my aunt being extremely poorly. Very disappointed with the travellodge airside due to rats and overall cleanliness ruined my time there. Have reported to health and safety in Dublin. Will be taking it further

Location was excellent, easy to get to and from Dublin Airport via the 747 Air Link bus. Also it was only a few minutes walk from Temple Bar Area and Hardcourt Street Area. The apartments were completely secure as you needed a key fob to access each door leading to the main apartment doors. The apartments were clean and well organised with everything required for our stay.

Staff were attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. A great help with bus and tram and train enquiries. Caught the 747 bus from Dublin Airport and it dropped us off right outside the hotel. Our return journey was just a easy as the bus stopped right outside of the door.
