Skvěle vybavená kuchyň pro všechny, kdo si budou chtít vařit. Chybí snad jen trouba. Mraženou pizzu tedy ze svého jídelníčku vynechte :) V kuchyni najdete koření, čaj, kávu, granko pro děti, připravené mléko v lednici a muffiny na uvítání! Protože majitel bydlí hned vedle, je jednoduché se s ním domluvit a kdykoliv přijde pomoci. Poradí i s okolím, kam se vydat a jak, případně ví i o uzavírkách silnic apod. Když je chladno, přijedete již do vytopeného. Myslí na Vaše pohodlí. Je to strašně milé.

It was a most unique quirky property in an excellent central location for exploring the area. The kitchen sitting area was the former pub but beautifully adapted providing everything you need whilst retaining many of the original features. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels provided. Marie is a delightful lady who lives next door who has excellent knowledge and recommendations for things to do and see. Parking is behind the property and also a very pretty garden . We had a most enjoyable week staying at Herlihy’s and would highly recommend.

Rodinná atmosféra se zvířaty. Okolo domu spousta míst pro zaparkování auta (zdarma). Velikost pokoje, postelí i koupelny je velmi nadstandardní. Všude byl klid a ticho. Skvělé místo pro výlety do okolí (Killarney a Tralee jsou vzdáleny jen několik minut autem).

The Hillside Cottage is a perfect getaway with great access to nearby towns and situated within 10-20 mins of both the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Our family of four found the cottage quite comfortable. The cottage is a wonderful mix of old-world stone cottage and modern amenities. A well-stocked kitchen and washer/dryer allowed us to pack lighter and cook in most nights we stayed, which was a plus for us traveling with young children. In the evenings, the cottage is quite cozy no matter what the weather outside, with the wood burning stove (radiator also available and able to set to your comfort) providing plenty of warmth on a cold rainy night. The owner goes above and beyond in assisting guests with any questions or recommendations for the area and has little how-to guides around most of the appliances, which are extremely helpful for those who are not used to Euro standards. If you’re looking for a great stop as a base for western Ireland, look no further! We would absolutely stay again and again.

We stayed at this lovely cottage a few months ago and had a fantastic experience. It was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday was provided, making it feel like a true home from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommended!
