Built in 1793, Carrygerry is a charming country house on Ireland’s scenic County Clare Coast. Lovely accommodation close to Shannon Airport. The room was clean and so comfortable, I slept so good. The surroundings are wonderful. The owner welcomed us with a big smile even if it was late. It was just a one night stay but would definitely go back.

We told Judith we were going to Durty Nellie’s, a famous pub near by, and she went out of her way to drop us off there as it was raining. So helpful, we were really grateful. She couldn’t have been more welcoming. Thank you Judith, you’re the best!

Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon is located in the heart of Shannon’s town center, next to the Skycourt shopping center and only 3.2 mi drive from the Shannon Airport. It was very spacious yet cozy and quaint. Brian and Ona were very pleasant and had genuine smiles.

Beautiful place, very friendly hosts. Really helpfull and so welcoming. Beautiful location, right on the water with the castle in the back garden.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages Type C by Trident Holiday Homes offers accommodations in Ballysteen, 17 miles from The Hunt Museum and 17 miles from St. Mary's Cathedral. A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

Cosy Room is located in Shannon, just 8.4 miles from Dromoland Castle and 12 miles from Thomond Park. Very nice apartment, everything was clean and tidy, clean bed and fresh towels. When I asked for a late checkout, the owner agreed without any questions. I highly recommend this accommodation in Shennon, for this money in Ireland it is very difficult to find good accommodation. Thanks to the owner for the hospitality.

The Shannon Springs Hotel is located between the historic towns of Ennis and Limerick and offers 71 bedrooms equipped with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy free parking and free Wi-Fi. This is an independent, locally owned property - it was a pleasure to stay here. The building was newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Staff were so very helpful and professional in their interactions. Besides the hotel, the building contains a lovely restaurant (fish and chips cooked to perfection) and a charming pub - Shannon Springs Hotel is a great place to recharge before or after a long flight in or out of Shannon Airport. There are bus stops immediately outside the building and you can be whisked there within minutes.

Just 4 miles from Shannon Airport, Bunratty Manor is a small family-run hotel, just a 5 minute walk from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The Manor Restaurant serves local game and seafood. The staff were very helpful when checking in. We were upgraded to a ground floor spacious room. The hotel offers an a la carte breakfast menu.
