Breakfast was very good - several options to choose from every day, Indian and continental options. Another time we tried the main course and it was also delicious. The service staff are also a big plus. The gentlemen from the reception and the staff from restaurant are extremely helpful, honest and create a very positive atmosphere in this place.

Everything about this property is amazing. Lush green gardens, a good size pool, the helpful staff and the cute dogs that roam around. The rooms are spacious, especially the deluxe rooms. The gardens are pristine and neatly kept. Bhum at the frontdesk was really accomdating by checking us in earlier, fixing transportation for us and also making good on his promise to get us the best guide in Jodhpur and he delivered! The staff at the restaurant were also really sweet, giving us recommendations and their service was really good. I recommend this property. We have been going from city to city in India and this was the first hotel where we could just lay back and enjoy peace and quiet. It is also really closeby to some good restaurants, the city and the textile warehouse.

Mehrangarh Fort and Museum were quite interesting, The clock tower area is very congested and the small lanes are difficult to commute by car. Did not use the local transport as I travelled by a car so unable to comment.

the Mehrangarh fort, the Umaid Palace was worth it. Some restaurants were good. Shopping is great if you have time to look at many stires. The tax drivers take a cut by taking you to their know shopping places - please avoid and do your own research. The One Cafe near the steps and On the Rocks and Pal haveli are good eateries.

Jodhpur has the great fort of Mehrangarh which has a lot of interesting and beautiful palaces in its compound and also a museum which was full of historical artifacts. Umaid Bhawan Palace which has been converted into a 5-star heritage hotel and a museum. The museum is very interesting.

If you like heritage and rajasthan , it's worth one visit. The cab or auto drivers try to take advantage, shopping isn't very economical, and experiences are mechanical, unless you strike a chord with locals and be aware/concious of surroundings

Jodhpur is an interesting historic city with a magnificent fort towering over the old blue city. The area around the clocktower has numerous bazaars and places to stay and eat, great for shopping and exploring. Jodhpur offers wonderful local handcrafts and is worth visiting for this alone. The old blue city can be reached by foot from the clocktower area and it is worth wandering through the narrow laneways and alleys to get a sense of history and living in this part of Rajasthan.
