The owners live downstairs and were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. They also offer home-cooked meals, which are simple and tasty — you can opt in for them if you like. Since I was travelling alone, safety was important for me, and I felt completely comfortable and at ease here. They even helped me find a two-wheeler rental, which made exploring Hampi a lot easier. There’s proper vehicle parking too, which is a plus. Overall, it felt like staying at a place that genuinely cares about its guests — warm, safe, and easy. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in this area.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the mattresses and pillows are soooo comfy. The host was kind to arrange taxi pickup to the property and a rickshaw driver to take us from site to site (thanks, Mustafa!), both at good rates. Breakfast in the morning is a simple but tasty omelet with toast. For dinner, you can walk 15 minutes to Mango Tree Restaurant or have it brought to you. It’s a perfectly safe walk, and you pass by a lot of enthusiastic kids who are excited to greet foreigners.

Our host was an official Hampi guide, so we used him for our first day. Excellent. Real home stay. We interacted with the family. The meals were all exceptional.
