So expect to walk about 30 minutes before you reach the center. With a standard, European breakfast, and friendly English speaking staff, there was nothing to complain about.

We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. You felt like home because nothing was missing.

This budget hotel is 328 feet from Reykjavik's BSI Bus Terminal, the arrival/departure point for Keflavík International Airport buses. It offers free WiFi and parking. It was great, everything was clean, the room was warm, the beds are suuuper comfortable and everything is a 15-20 minute walk away. Awesome value for the money.

The rooms are spacious and pretty clean, you have a huge place to put your stuff next to your bed, it was always clean, the kitchen is well equipped. Yes it is a little far away from the city center but it is only 15-20 minutes walking so it's like any hostel in any other European city??? But most of tours just leave right in front of the hostel if you'd like to book with them. I can't say anything bad, I really enjoyed my stay there and made a lot of friends too! Even I found Turkish speaking staff which was very unexpected for me hahaha

This family-run guest house, 1640 feet from Reykjavik Bus Terminal, is a 45-minute bus ride from Keflavik International Airport. We have traveled to many places, but this was our best accommodation so far. Mr. Ingi and his employees were very nice and helpful, everything was clean, including the common areas. Whenever we return to Iceland, we will definitely stay at Igdlo house. We wish you all the best!
