There are laundry facilities (we didn't have time to check them out or use them), a playground, two beautiful farm dogs and everything is well spaced out so you don't hear other guests.

Loved the peaceful location, incredible views, had the whole place to ourselves, amazing chefs kitchen with all the amenities and free to use, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were very warm with underfloor heating, lovely on the feet but almost too warm at night.

Ubytování bylo připraveno parádně, vše velmi čisté, krásné, nic, co bychom postrádali. Paní Tinna s námi komunikovala přes zprávy, byla velmi milá, nápomocná, prostě vše super a toho ubytování můžeme jen doporučit. Není nic, co bychom vytkli. Kuchyň plně super vybavená, krásná sprcha, koupelna, příjemné postele, vše nové a parádní. Tak jako krásný výhled, klid, zatím naše nejlepší ubytování zde na Islandu.

Cottage in the middle of nowhere, nice connection to nature all around, peace and quiet (apart from the elements, mainly wind). Extremely good views and good chances to see the northern lights when the sky is clear! Well equipped, quite clean but a bit older in terms of furniture. Very nicely decorated though, cozy and very warm inside. Hot tubs are the icing on the cake! Perfect getaway from touristy locations on iceland.

Stóri-Bakki cosy cottage near Egilsstaðir-Jökull se nachází v destinaci Stóri-Bakki a poskytuje ubytování s možností vlastního stravování, s patiem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Such a cute little cabin and felt more spacious than the photos looked! We saw the northern lights going outside to round the back and looking north, and the owner was very sweet and attentive going out of her way to help our comfort and bring some extra pillows as we struggle to sleep with only one so that was very kind and it was very windy, it was very snowy around but the roads were manageable with 4x4 and lovely views around, good shower good firm beds, nice bedding, great mini fridge and freezer option good oven/ hob, kitchen was good with lots of utensils to use, very warm and cosy and peaceful and private, we liked having a tv, it has smart access too, WiFi was great, the supermarket closes at 7pm bear this in mind as we didn’t 😅

Ekra Cottages se nachází v destinaci Lagarfljótsvirkjun v oblasti Island – východ a poskytuje balkon a výhled na řeku. We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
