Convenient location, walking distance to the airport and well connected to the city.
Great little apartment equipped with everything needed, and even if, in the unlikely event the airline company loses your luggage (which is what happened to me!), you will not find yourself lost!
Squeaky clean, modern-style apartment. Warm and cozy, you’ll feel like at home.
Great private parking.
Very friendly hosts, caring and super attentive to my needs.
I cannot recommend this little gem enough!
Thank you, Simona, for everything. You made my stay in Bologna very pleasant!

It is very close to the airport, only you have to take two buses, but only one bus if you want to go to the centre.
The area is very quiet and clean, you have a supermarket nearby.

It's a rather remote, quiet town. Nothing to draw one to except quiet and near the Bologna airport.
I ended up choosing to heat up a packaged curry/rice meal from the supermarket, as the only other choice (since I didm't have a car) was a pizzeria.

Bologna is a gem, and very different from Florence, Rome or Milan. There are wonderful covered arcades on the commercial streets which make walking a pleasure in all weather. Bologna is also a foodie city, don't miss the night market, the Sunday flea market, and the Santo Stephano church complex. I love the red brick and ochre buildings. It's easy to imagine it as a medieval city as so many buildings from the 12-13th century as still standing and in use and the old walls and gates still define the streets and layout of the city.

We used this place as a starting point to visit:
- the historic centre of Bologna (20 min. by a car)
- Ferrari Museum in Maranello (50 min.)
- Lamborghini factory and museum in Santa Agatha (20 min.)
Airport:
For some, it may be important that this place is near the airport of Bologna.
Restaurant:
From the accommodation we got a tip about the restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria "Itaca" in Calderara di Reno - excellent 👍 (10min. by a car)
Visit Bologna:
Bologna is a very busy town with narrow streets. I strongly do not recommend going into the historic centre by a car. Use the underground garages on the outskirts of the historic centre - e.g. on Via Riva di Reno and then walk

Bologna, like so many tourist destinations, rests on its laurels, knowing people will come any way so what's the point in making too much effort... Until people stop coming.
Transport outside the city is a nightmare, particularly for the Unipol Arena, should you be attending an event there.

Bologna is a beautiful city with wonderful architecture,...
Bologna is a beautiful city with wonderful architecture, churches history and museums. Though there are tourists, it is comfortable and has none of the overcrowded scenes of the major cities. The food, the food. Bologna has some of the best. Their Ragu sauce, tortellini soup, and the lasagna are well worth the trip.
The basilica, San Petronio, is filled with history, beauty and controversy.
Santo Stefano Church a is a wonderful contrast in simplicity and worship.
A trip up to the Sanctuary of Madonna di San Luca either by tour trin or by foot (LONG uphill climb) is a must. the views of the surrounding country side along with the spectacular art and grandeur of the church were a highlight.

The neighborhood was quiet, and the apartment was spacious and newly renovated as described by the host. The bus stop from BLQ Airport was conveniently located across the street. Initially, there was only one set of towels for two guests, but the host provided an additional set upon request.
