The Nagoya airport itself has a lots place to tour around, especially the sky deck where you could enjoy the plane spotting. And also this is the only airport in Japan where there is a hot spring place within the airport, and you can have a nice refresh bath before or after your flight!

Tokoname has a very long tradition of pottery making.
Tokoname has a very long tradition of pottery making. It is not a luxurious place because it was a working town with many kilns. Today, there are paths that one can take through the old pottery areas. Quite a few potters still work there and you can see their work in the studios and galleries. It's a great place to spend an entire day.
