Wajima (7.4 miles from Noto Airport)
GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA enjoys a location in Wajima, 3.7 miles from Shiroyone Senmaida and 30 miles from Notojima Glass Art Museum. Staff were very helpful, although I don't think they spoke much English. There's a noodle place that's part of the business which made for a nice dinner, although isn't listed on Google maps. I had a single room which was comfy and warm. Very clean, building looks brand new, comfy lounge that also functions as a co-working area. Soundproofing was bad to nonexistent but I found it wasn't an issue during my stay. They also give you a free voucher to a local onsen roughly a 10 minute walk away, I used it and the onsen was very nice.

8 miles from Notojima Glass Art Museum in Nanao, TAOYA Wakura provides accommodations with access to an open-air bath. Everything . The onsen amazing…. A hot rock sauna room plus normal sauna excellent. Infinity outdoor hot onsen views wonderful . Food excellent… suggest a 15 minute delay on starting to allow for the rush! Great views, free drinks, snacks, snow freeze in foyer such a nice touch . We upgraded to a room with a shower but loved the onsen for evenings. Would return and disregard bad reviews…. We kiwis loved it .
Ogi (15.2 miles from Noto Airport)
Noto Hyakurakusou in Ogi provides accommodations with an open-air bath, a garden, and a terrace. The staff spoke good english and were extemely helpful. The food included in the half board price served in private dining areas was amazingly well presented traditional Japanese food. That looked and tasted out of this world. Some of the best food we had on our trip to Japan and we stayed in several expensive Ryokan. Lovely private or public outdoor onsen or in a subterranean cave. The Noto peninsular is still recovering from the earthquake of Jan 2024 and the terrible flooding in Sept 2024 but a trip there is well worthwhile to see the scenery and see how well the repairs are progressing
