Also our room has a balcony which we can get fresh air and enjoy the nice view. The hotel is not in downtown but they provide free shuttle to get there which is a plus. The price is very reasonable. The hotel is close to the Kobe Animal Kingdom and you can get discounted tickets at the front desk. The hotel is also close to the Bay Shuttle pier and right now foreigners can purchase the ferry ticket at 500 yen per person which is a huge discount. The ferry goes from Kobe to Kansai airport (and vice versa). The hotel is also one of the stops of the Kobe City Loop bus and you can buy the bus pass at the front desk so super convenient. The staff is very helpful and polite. My parents and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Pearl City Kobe is within 1640 feet from Minami Koen Train Station and the Minami Park. A free 2-way shuttle to JR Sannomiya Train Station and JR Shin-Kobe Train Station is provided. Opened in January 2015, Ariston Hotel Kobe is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Minatojima Port Liner Station. It features free property-wide WiFi and a hearty breakfast buffet. I stayed in a twin room, and it was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. There was a desk, a couple comfortable chairs and table, and a large bath and shower. The staff was helpful and friendly, and complementary sake is offered upon arrival in the lobby.

Featuring a bar, spa and wellness center and views of city, Centurion Hotel&Spa Vintage Kobe is located in Kobe, 2.8 miles from Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction. I like that there was a spa on the property and that the staff at check-in were super nice. There is also a Familymart downstairs, which is perfect for snacks, food, and drinks.

BALOH Wadamisaki enjoys a location in Kobe, a 12-minute walk from Noevir Stadium Kobe and 3.3 miles from Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction. The hotel was extremely bad. There were no toothbrushes, slippers or a series of other supplies when we checked in. There were also many problems with the check-in procedures. They gave me the wrong password, which caused us to stay at the door for two hours without getting the key. No one solved the problem for us.

Located a 5-minute taxi ride from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, Kobe Minato Onsen Ern features a variety of hot spring baths, a year-round hot spring outdoor pool, an indoor swimming pool,... The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

Just a 3-minute walk from Kobe’s Meriken Park, Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel features 4 dining choices. Rooms have free WiFi and a balcony with park or harbor views. The view of the hotel is really good and its good for its price. Staffs are nice and helpful. Location wise its really close to the shopping malls nearby and the hotel offers shuttle to the city centre station also.

Hotel Crown Palais Kobe offers spacious modern accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the spacious public bath for a discounted price or request relaxing in-room massages. Good location, room and staff services. We had a spacious room with sea view which was so far the best hotel deal.
