Everything this was a perfect property for us wrapping our St. Lucian vacation. It was amazing to stay in a residential area and get away from the tourist sites. We were able to walk to the soccer field and grocery store. The AC was amazing full Kitchen. Everything that we needed. Host was perfect and arranged transport to the airport

The hostess was kind and fun. There was a lovely area to sit outside. When I asked that the plastic be taken off the bed, it was done. That made sleeping the next 2 nights much better.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice, well-kept apartment with not one but 2 wonderful hosts, Shawn and Sabina. My favorite area was the balcony, which had an awesome view. From our first interaction from miles away, we knew we would be comfortable staying there, and we would be repeat guests. They met and exceeded our expectations, from eggs, etc, to a lovely jug of fresh coconut water and a very tasty BBQ. We really appreciate all you did to make our trip enjoyable and memorable, and we look forward to staying with you guys next year. P.S. They make a very tasty homemade dressing.

I liked the exceptional cleanliness and the fresh, inviting scent throughout the property, which immediately created a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast provided each morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. The owner’s polite and understanding demeanor truly stood out, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the combination of a well-maintained property, thoughtful amenities, and excellent hospitality made my stay at the property memorable.

James is such a great person, very helpful and gracious - He really made my stay, so professional! the view is great and if you're coming from the ferry at night, it's probably the closest option. When you book ask James to book you a taxi to pick you up, especially if you're arriving late.

If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet...

If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet Street Party, make sure you negotiate the price for a round trip. Make SURE you emphasize round trip. Some taxi men are so money hungry and will give you a price of round trip, but then try and tell you they meant one way. DON'T let them do that. Get clear clarification for your round trip.

The beach is very nice; the southern end is quieter with shallower waters. The mall has a lot of different eating options and a large supermarket. Most of the tourists speak English and English is the language of the island. You can take day cruises from Rodney Bay Marina

The Cap Estate has amazing villas and is the most upmarket part of the island. There are luxurious hotels in the Cap Estate so you can easily dine out in the hotels and experience their facilities. It is a 10 minute drive to Rodney Bay, if you want a night out in the bars and restaurants or if you wish to go shopping in the arcades. It was easy to get around the Cap Estate as the roads are fine but there are a few pot holes.

I enjoyed my stay at Marigot Beach Resort.

I enjoyed my stay at Marigot Beach Resort. I loved the ambience, my room, the cleanliness of the hotel and the customer service. The menu was varied enough, though the meals could have been a bit tastier. I plan on revisiting there in two weeks' time - on business. I recommend Marigot Beach Resort for its beauty, serenity and comfort.

Castries is a harsh city. Not violet.

Castries is a harsh city. Not violet. But difficult to spend time in. It's not setup for tourists who are not in a resort or on a cruise. There are very few sit-down atmospheric restaurants and bars. It's a city for the locals and its a poor community. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. They are wonderful people. But it's not what you might call 'charming'. The roads and traffic are a nightmare and a day here is enough. Rodney Bay is a much more vacation friendly place. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, but be prepared for confronting the results of colonial abuse and corruption. Frankly the locals are demonstrating a high degree of humility, love and forgiveness despite what our western ancestors have done to them, and are still doing. I learned something very important about western entitlement by staying here.

A great location which is peaceful and clean. Not far from the sea and the scenery is beautiful. Friendly locals make you feel welcome. For local amenities (groceries and shopping) you will need a taxi, if not driving (short drive). Entertainment is also close by for a great night out.

Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and several excellent restaurants. People of St.Lucia are really friendly and always happy to help you out. There are plenty of shops stocking local and some international goods, especially the shops on-route to Rodney Bay. Choc beach near Castries was beautiful, clean & quiet with very calm sea waves. Excellent for swimming including children. We found the beach to be very quiet all day long with only a handful of people passing by, so ideal for sunbathing too. The Sunsets are magical.

Excellent location if you want to be able to visit restaurants and shopping and the beach is excellent - it is far from the international airport (but close to the regional airport) and most tourist sites, but if you want more than just to stay at your hotel - go for Gros Islet! Easy enough to organise trips to the mud baths, etc
