This was the best garage to studio conversions I have ever seen:) The place is small, but amply convenient for two people. There is a small kitchenette with mini items like s&p, cooking oil, some coffee, fridge, etc. A mini market is a few minutes away, so you could be making your own breakfast in a jiffy, since there are no restaurants around. The place was super clean and it looks like the host took extra steps to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. There was even a mini medicine kit with basic stuff. The yard or terrace is the best part - there is quite a lot of space to hang out outside with two tables, seating and a hammock . If you wish to bbq in the evening that was set up too. There is enough privacy despite the premises being located on the main road. A very cosy nice little place, better if you have your own vehicle.

It is a special experience. Houses are often decorated as ancient, but here is a renovated old house with all the comforts. My whole family was satisfied. The instructions to get to the room were clear. Great value for money.

The Old Liepaja is a gem boasting old and Jugend...
The Old Liepaja is a gem boasting old and Jugend architecture. The city offers many music events on its numerous sites. There are also many catering options in different budget ranges. You can just walk around or travel by car; parking rates are extremely low in the city centre.
The most exciting experience was visiting local churches and the underground art gallery near to Rožu laukums. An excurtion to the Great Amber Concert Hall is unique; it takes you to the sacred parts, such as the stage , dressing rooms and special study and training premises.

They have to update information on Booking.com.
They have to update information on Booking.com. Check-in in fact is until 17.00 not 21.00, check-out time is incorrect (there is no one in the morning) I arrived at 19.00 and had to leave early around 8.00, there was no one at the registration desk), no info on Wi-Fi access, no breakfast, that was included in price, and, in general, very poor communication with staff by phone. But room was very nice and clean, and Baltic see was super!

Secluded little town with vacation houses far and in between. Pine tree park is most enticing, with the view of the Baltic sea as a gift of amber after peaceful walk. And you do not have to travel to some tropical island in the Pacific to experience perfect white sand at the beach - it is all here. And no busy tourist attractions to distract you from experiencing nature at your own inner pace. Perfect getaway for those who seek solitude or share quite moments with your best other half.

Really nice, clean and comfortable city with a lot to see and very friendly local people. City in general is very friendly to pets - it is easy to find te place to stay and dine with pets and even mueum allows pets inside.

Our stay at Bēces was truly unforgettable. We spent a week here as a couple and enjoyed every moment. The wooden house is built with high quality and tastefully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It is located in a scenic and quiet plot close to the seaside.
For a pleasant alternative to cooking at home, we highly recommend the restaurant/café "Dzintariņš" in Bernati, which is just a 10-minute walk away.

Liepaja is absolutely the hidden gem of Latvia, our family loves it. The beach, the wonderful park near the beach with huge kids playground and places to do sports. Wonderful boulangeries, cafes, restaurant. Also our family loves to visit SPA, so we are used to spend a couple of hours in Liepaja Olympic Center SPA. For an epic visit, stay at Promenade Hotel, visit Asian restaurant "Rīsi+Nūdeles" and have a coffee break at Vējš cafe.

Bernati is a calm village.
Bernati is a calm village. There is only one cafe in Bernati (and another one next to the main road), so we found it most comfortable to prepare our own food at the place we stayed. Liepaja is 20 km drive away and can be an alternative option. Unlike many other places in this region, Bernati is reachable along the paved road, which is important. We liked the forest separating the village and the sea; there are a lot of walking paths in the forest.
