The hotel is well organized and the staff is extremely helpfull, especially the manager, Sayan who helped us alot! We booked an entire week there without knowing enough about Male and we were a bit dissapointed when we arrived but Sayan helped in taking the decission to remain there and with all the details! He planned a full agenda for us with a lot of fun activities and relaxing time in several amazing places. He contacted all the resorts we went and found the best offers for us. Whenever we needed help, he solved the issue in no time.
They clean the room everyday and they provide fresh water.

The place was nice and tidy, and everything was clean. Comfortable beds, air conditioning in all the bedrooms and living room, and a nice terrace area outside the apartment. The host gave us complimentary water bottles and had a universal adaptor, whic was very handy to charge our devices after a long trip. The apartment is a short distance from the airport (10min by taxi) and a short walk to the speedboat jetty. Close to shops and food outlets. The host was very responsive and helpful with advice on travel and transfer to other islands. Highly recommend.

Very good rooms at Fanfini and close to the ferry. The host waited for us on arrival and showed us our room. You have everything you need here, including free drinking water. The building is located in a nice area, not too noisy (like on Male's chaotic main streets). All in all a great stay.

The hotel provides excellent service, including airport shuttle and help in transition to other island. All is good :) definitely suitable for overnight connection. We didn’t have time to walk around, but the view from our room is nice ~

An interesting place. Mostly pleasant people. Uneven pavements, loads of motorbikes parked make walking difficult too. Somewhat improved over the last few years. Currently (November 2025) many public facilities closed and sitting down anywhere is clearly not encouraged.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.

I stayed in Male for one night due to my flight home being early the next morning. It was an experience to see the capital city, but if I could have stayed on the resort longer I would have preferred. Male is very hectic and quite dirty as a city. I did enjoy a good meal, which made the experience worth it. The hotel where I stayed was also central and provided excellent customer service (Beehive Premier). The food was from Seahouse.

for staying one night before flight home nice .. but beach was not really nice .. there are a lot of restarants there so no problem to find something to eat .. for transport we taxi with Avas Ride app in phone it was easy to order a taxi

Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi. It was tough to manage a boat to Himmafushi from the airport. However, the beach was nice. I enjoyed the scene of small fishes near around the beach.

We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere.
The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.

Absolutely visit th main Island, there lots to visit and experience. Food and people were fantastic. Beaches and activities are also great. There many different boat trips and Island flights, although expensive worth exploring. Its a dry Island so be prepared that theres no alcohol, when were were at airport to fly to Male the duty free are selling you alcohol so if you arrive with bottles etc in hand or checked in luggage its confiscated.
