It's a big, clean and comfortable studio, close to the center. It's well equipped, and nothing you need is missing. Wifi, A/C, and the fans work very well. The lighting of the whole place is very good. The washing machine and the space for the laundry to dry out is a plus feature. Maria, the host, is very kind and helpful.

The location was great, in the center of the historical part of the city. The neighborhood is very quiet and we had no problem parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is a historical building with a shaded garden area where our dogs were able to hang out. The hostess was extremely accommodating and gave us a super recommendation for dinner. The breakfast, which you order the night before was served exactly at the time we specified. It was one of the best breakfasts we enjoyed on our trip.

    We've lived in Merida for 2 years and Campeche is our favorite get-away. Seaside on the Gulf with a long and beautiful Malecon. Any type of restaurant you could ask for. The entire Historical Centro is very walkable. The portions of the remaining fortification are impressive. Plenty of tours to take and sightseeing to do. In our travels in Mexico, we have not encountered a nicer main Mercado. Not the largest, but one of the cleanest with some of the best produce we've found. They do not have Uber, but the taxis are reasonably priced.

    Campeche City is a very laid back city.

    Campeche City is a very laid back city. Younger visitors may think too much so, but for older (non-party) visitors, it has everything you could ask for. History, shopping, food. Tours of the city and to Mayan ruins are readily available. Excellent mercado.

    We read incredible reviews of Campeche in both The Lonely...

    We read incredible reviews of Campeche in both The Lonely Planet and The Rough Guide, as to how beautiful it was and so planned to stay two nights, however, we ended up staying only one as there wasn’t that much to do there, and actually preferred Valladolid and Merida. We didn’t think it was any prettier than other places, and we preferred to have an extra night in Merida which we thought more stunning with more character.
