Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. We stayed one night at the farm following a long day and night of travelling from London. It was absolutely perfect. The setting is cosy and the gardens are full of an incredible variety of colourful birds. Listening to their song whilst sipping a beer was delightful. The chalet rooms are basic but super clean and perfectly comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. The lady who cooked our dinner and breakfast is amazing and we enjoyed both meals. Thank you Etango Ranch, we’d love to come again one day.

I really appreciated the warm welcome from the staff — everyone was friendly and greeted me with a smile. My hut was clean and comfortable, and waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was truly refreshing. The food was also excellent; I really enjoyed my stay overall.

The owners of the property are really nice and kind people; the farm is very interesting. And the room is very comfortable.

Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Chris and Chrisna were the perfect hosts and so welcoming - they waited for us for dinner even though we arrived at 9pm. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with them with so many laughs and had a fabulous nights sleep. A lovely breakfast was ready for us in the fridge when we woke up - the appartment was extremely private and quiet, with an incredible view. The house is in a gated estate and feels very safe.
